ABOUT THE PROJECT
Duration: 2 Months / 8 weeks
Role: UX Designer: Research & Visual Designer
Fiora is a fictional international expert in floral delivery services, dedicated to connecting people across distances through the language of flowers. They specialize in creating personalized floral arrangements, catering to customers who wish to celebrate special occasions with loved ones who are far away.
As part of my Google Career Certificate program, I spearheaded the development of this project. This involved conducting interviews, usability studies, and competitive audits to ensure that the final product was not only functional but also aligned with user needs and motivations.
Over the course of 8 weeks, I led the end-to-end UX design of this fictitious project, ensuring that every aspect of the user experience was carefully considered and optimized.
USER RESEARCH SUMMARY
I conducted interviews and created empathy maps to gain a deep understanding of the users I was designing for and their needs. Through this process, I identified a primary user group: working adults who live far away from their loved ones.
While this user group confirmed initial assumptions about Fiora's customers, further research revealed additional insights. For instance, it was found that sending floral arrangements was often perceived as too expensive by this group. Additionally, they expressed a desire for more affordable options and were interested in the ability to customize their own arrangements.
USER PAIN POINTS
01 - Distance
Many individuals live far away from their loved ones, making it difficult to celebrate special events with them in person.
02 - Pricing
Floral arrangements are often expensive, making them unaffordable for many users.
03 - Customization
When purchasing a bouquet online, there is typically no option to customize it according to one's preferences.

BRANDING
I was responsible for developing the comprehensive branding of Fiora, which encompassed the logo, color scheme, and typography.
DESIGN KIT
To facilitate the iterative process of refining the application based on usability testing feedback, I created a Design Kit. This kit meticulously documented every aspect of the app, ensuring that it could be easily reworked and updated as needed.
